Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

​Duties:

•     Mechanical mounting and fitting of components, parts and secondary steelwork.
•      Receiving and reading drawings (different views), sketches and/or other information.
•     Determining work sequence about the tools, equipment usage and following instructions in line with work method
•     Preparing for and executing flushing of pipe systems
•     Assisting Commissioning Engineers with putting the components into service.
•     Responsible for the execution and application of the HSE procedures within his work area.

Other Duties:

•     Any duties as deemed reasonable within the associated envelope of the individual’s technical capability.

The Persons:

•     You must have worked in a Steel construction site for 5 years and above as a Mechanical Fitter
•     Vocational Trade Test certificate or training as Mechanical Fitter will be required
•     Knowledge of drawing reading and interpretation is Required
•     Understands and has experience with work preparation systems
•     Knowledge of using hoisting tooling and flushing Unit
•     Capable of using equipment and tools for mechanical fitting, as well as for steel construction in general.
•     Safety certificate (general) and other safety certification will be an added advantage.
